Join us in launching a peaceful civilian flotilla to challenge Israel’s illegal blockade of Gaza and deliver life-saving aid by sea.

Across the world, ordinary people are organising something historic. Not governments. Not institutions. Citizens.

Together we are preparing boats to sail to Gaza to break the siege and stand in solidarity with Palestinians facing genocide.

Thousand Madleens to Gaza is an international citizen movement raising funds to equip vessels with medical supplies, food, water, safety equipment, and trained volunteer crews. Our goal is simple and concrete: put real boats in the water and sail together until the blockade is broken.

Each “Madleen” represents hope. Each vessel represents collective resistance.

The Netherlands Delegation is part of this global fleet alongside teams across Europe and the Mediterranean. We organise locally to raise funds, coordinate volunteers, and prepare departures from European ports.

A Thousand Madleens to Gaza is a global network of non-violent civilian flotillas organised by citizens.

Goal: 1,000 Madleens, 1,000 boats’ worth of support, enough collective presence to challenge the blockade together.

This mission is not charity alone. It is peaceful civilian action to end the siege and support Palestinian self-determination.

If plans change, the mission is cancelled, or funds cannot be used as intended, donors may:

request a refund, or
allow their donation to be redirected to Stichting Handala’s humanitarian projects or related non-violent civilian actions supporting Palestinians
